Better Happy was established in 2012 by Matt Jones, the former global head of strategy and creative at Jack Morton Worldwide.
In that role, Matt led a global team of over 200 strategists, creatives, and designers across the USA, UK, Australia and Asia.
During his time there as a creative strategist, first in Sydney and then in New York, Matt helped open or relaunch offices in LA, Chicago, and Singapore and led global client teams for brands including Holiday Inn, Samsung, Volkswagen, and Walmart. As Jack Morton's chief ideas officer, Matt helped to define the discipline and methodologies of brand experience design and the building of experience brands.
Before working in marketing and brand experience, Matt worked in government and politics.
Matt has written and spoken on brand strategy, purpose, social impact, experience design, engagement, innovation, culture, communications, and ideas in the US, the UK, Asia, and Australia. He has taught brand and social media strategy at the Australian Graduate School of Management, UNSW. And he has appeared as a panellist on the Gruen Transfer. Matt sits on the Advisory Board to GiveEasy, Australia's first mobile platform for charitable giving.
Matt is also the founder and brand/ marketing director of Four Pillars, a small Australian distillery in the Yarra Valley.
